Introducing my latest addiction:
So here's the bad news:
Yup. There is pretty much no nutritional value whatsoever. It's almost 100% fat and one little serving of 2 Tbsp. fills up 40% of your saturated fat intake for the day. Which, of course, is why it is so dang yummy. I admit with little shame that I can eat the entire box in one sitting if I so desired.
The best cracker to eat this with is:
Also available at Costco! (dear Costco...I want free cheese).
I know...you see the words "rice crackers" and you think "boring", but these are salty, cheesy and yummy! Thank heaven they are low fat, low calorie and as close as you can get to just eating air. It cancels out the cheese, don't you think? So I can eat as much as I want, right? Right.

Some people eat some chocolate every day--I have to get my dose of cheese every day.
ReplyDeleteI've tried the Boursin but I think I like plain old brie better. Or blue cheese.
I wish we had a Costco! Those crackers sound heavenly. I love rice crackers. Especially the Oriental snack mix that has rice crackers, sesame sticks, wasabi peas, etc. Tracy crack!
Oh ya! I forgot you were a fellow cheese-a-holic. I love brie, but not so much the blue cheese.
DeleteI am going to mail you some crackers one day. Lol! Speaking of mailing stuff, you won a water bottle at Nate's raffle. It's not anything spectacular; just a plain ol' water bottle with some company's name on the front. I think I will save it for you and bring it camping.
Mom won a chocolate cream pie and I was thinking I was glad it wasn't the other way around.
